External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday whips out at Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for intervening in India’s internal matters, destabilising and fuelling violence in the Kashmir valley caused unrest due to the death of Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani.
Her powerful statement comes after Sharif’s statement on Friday at Muzaffarabad in Pakistan, in his first public address Sharif urged the POK’s Kashmiris “Not to forget those in Kashmir who are sacrificing their lives for their freedom of movement. Their freedom of moment cannot be stopped by anyone and they will attain success. You must be aware of how they are being beaten and killed and are been martyred. All of our prayers are with them and we are awaiting for that day when Kashmir becomes Pakistan,”
Here are some of the solid statements made by the EAM:
-Upon Sharif’s statement of calling Burhan Wani a ‘martyr’, Swaraj said “Doesn’t he know that Burhan Wani was a Hizbul Mujahideen Commander? who carried an reward of Rs.10 lakh on his head because he had perpetrated heinous crimes including murder of elected representatives of local bodis and security.
-Behind Pakistan’s blatant encouragement towards terror activities lay it’s delusional dangerous dream that one day Kashmir would become Pakistan.
-The whole of the India would like to tell the Prime Minister of Pakistan that their dream of Kashmir being a part of Pakistan would remain unattainable even till the resurrection day.
-The whole of Jammu and Kashmir belongs to India and can never be disjoint.
-Pakistan would never be able to make this land of heaven on earth turn into a hell of terrorists.
– In a strong-worded retort to Pakistan PM’s critical comment that his good wishes are with Kashmir, Swaraj said, “Pakistan has never given blessings to Kashmir, but has only given pain of terrorism and weapons.”
-Tearing into Pakistan’s ulterior motive to destabilise the Kashmir valley through state-sponsored terrorism, “Even more condemnable than these deplorable attempts from across our border to incite violence and glorify terrorists is the fact that these attempts have been undertaken by Pakistan’s state machinery in active partnership with UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed and other leading terrorists belonging to internationally proscribed organisations.”
-The statement of none other than Nawaz Sarif has betrayed this despicable design. But I would still repeat that their nefarious plans would never be succeeded.
-The country which has used fighter planes & artillery against lakhs of its own people has no right whatsoever to point a finger against our brave, disciplined and esteemed Police and security forces.
Hands off Kashmir, Pakistan.
What a strong and solid attack that was along with the some hard-hitting statements. Well played Sushma Swaraj!
*Round of Applause*
