Minorities in Pakistan

How minorities in India are doing is always a question for global media but no one is even looking towards minorities living in Pakistan. Statistics shows that in 1947 when Pakistan was born the total percent of minorities in Pakistan was 23% which has gone down to just 3%. The country has blasphemy law which has been misused by the ruling government from time to time. Recently 100,000 Pakistanis marched for a killer’s funeral. Mumtaz Quadri serving as the bodyguard killed the governor of Punjab province Mr. Salmaan Taseer. Taseer supported a Christian woman who allegedly committed blasphemy. Here is the video by, Sorabh Pant from East India Company who explores the past and present of minorities living in Pakistan.
