China’s wish will remain a wish forever. China’s claim over Arunachal Pradesh has become a hot potato issue in recent times. China daily wrote, Under India’s illegal rule, the resident of southern lived difficult lives, face various kind of discrimination and look forward to returning to China. But they forget Arunachal Pradesh isn’t their land but Indian state.
Also, they forget the self-immolation of Tibetan people against communist China’s policies in their region. Don’t add additional colour to the undisputed area and people hold a nationalist belief towards India.
A Recent event, Dalai Lama visit to Arunachal Pradesh has ticked off China as a visit of a religious leader to Arunachal Pradesh has been taken into the different lens and has invoked difference in bilateral ties. Dalai Lama is a religious leader but being held up as separatist on Chinese’s books and is being fought for the autonomy of Tibet. China claims Arunachal Pradesh as the territory of south Tibet and contended as a disputed territory. China has drawn the pseudo image of religious leader visit. Many officials from Indian Govt. and state govt. clearly stated that it’s our internal matter to be adjudged by our authorities and we don’t call for external influence on the territory of Arunachal Pradesh. Indian is being sovereign state needs no guidance on internal matters and we are free to entertain our matters as we want.
But Chinese foreign ministry lashed out that Dalai Lama’s visit is illegal to Arunachal Pradesh and gone to one step to fire and summoned the Indian Ambassador Vijay Gokhale in Beijing and reiterate India not to take interest in sensitive and grave issue for the disputed territory and demanded immediately halt the process. Chinese media stated in an article, “The Dalai Lama has long been active in anti-China separatist activities under the guise of religion. New Delhi inviting the Dalai Lama to sensitive region gravely damages the China-India relationship.
Later on, China has started to add fuel to fire by standardising the name of six cities in Arunachal Pradesh and termed it as a legitimate action. It is dangerous to sovereign nature of Indian states. In 1962 Sino-India war, disputed territory encapsulates area till Aksai Chin area which has been ruled by China since 1962. There had been 19 special representative talks to resolve the boundary dispute. But tittered on the brinks of land disputes, can this series of special task resolve the boundary dispute?
India needs to take firm action to stop china from making hallucination of claiming Arunachal Pradesh as southern Tibet. Arunachal is an integral part of India. India is being a sovereign country has full authority to decide whatever they want to do with these states. Changing name would not pull through their image of illegal action into legal actions. Question to the fundamental nature of sovereignty of India state, we would give protection to our people and our friends and Arunachal Pradesh to Indian constitution and to be immersed into tricolour.
