The Literary Society of College Of Vocational Studies is organizing ‘Exordium’, the literary fest on 6th February 2018. The most awaited event will be held in the premises of the college with an aim to provide a platform to the writers who want to voice their thoughts through words.
The fest will have various events, beginning with talk show with Mr. Hari Kumar Krishnamoorthy. The author of bestselling book, ‘When Strangers Meet’ is an Indian novelist and screenwriter. He has been featured as one of the top horror writers of India. In 2015, Hari Kumar’s second book That Frequent Visitor was published.The book was a tribute to the Delhi anti-rape protests. The writer will be inspiring many young writers like us and will be expressing his views on the importance artistic expression in the society.
Playing with words and making them fall into place is what takes to be a writer. The fest will provide you the opportunity to pen your words in STORYTELLING COMPETITION. The budding writers will be given prompts belonging to the different genre to write a story about. The time provided would be one and half an hour. There would be no word limit to the story, so the writers could unleash their imagination and create beautiful masterpieces.
The young fans can participate in FANFICTION and delve deep into the world of their favorite TV Shows and Movies. Every character, every plot, every detail will make a significant influence in this event. The event would be a three-round activity. The participants would be judged on their knowledge and perception of the famous TV Series and Movies.
The Society has organized the event to bring in light the amazing talent residing inside of blooming artists. With this goal, we welcome all the talented writers to come and participate in the event and amaze us with their power to pen down their thoughts effectively and, go leaving the impact of their inks.
