Was Sushma Swaraj’s Action Against Amazon Justified ?
Sushma Swaraj’s tweet yesterday, resulted in removal, of Indian Flag doormats from Amazon’s website.
The whole saga began when ‘Atul Bhobe’, an Indian citizen brought this to her notice.
Indian High Commission in Canada : This is unacceptable. Please take this up with Amazon at the highest level. https://t.co/L4yI3gLk3h

While many people have shown support in this decision of External Affair’s Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Some people have not found this an acceptable way of addressing the situation and also many have felt that she should concentrate on other important things as an external affairs minister.
We have a country with so many citizens, and each of them have, their own outlook, their own point of view. Sushma Swaraj is one of the few politicians who uses twitter in the best possible way and gives an immediate response to any concerned issue!
The point is, agreed we all have a right to speak and put forward our thoughts. But are these clashes on views and twitter battles going to lead us anywhere? Can we all not take small steps to make the country a better place ourself? simple things like planting trees, not throwing garbage, paying for education of children or teaching them. Can we not start doing that ourself rather than these criticising word battles on social media ?
The decision finally got the ‘Indian flag doormat’ removed from the website. Please share your thoughts on this!
