70-year-old veteran actor and politician, Vinod Khanna took his last breath today at 6 AM at the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. The yesteryears’ superstar was hospitalised since last one month. Mr Khanna was suffering from bladder cancer.
He was born on October 6th, 1946 in Peshawar Pakistan. A few days back a photo of the veteran actor from his hospital room came out in media. He was looking emaciated and frail in that photograph.
The image went viral on the internet and caused public concerns about his health. Though, at that time his sons, Akshay and Rahul told the media that he is improving and will be fine soon.

An official statement is still awaited from Vinod Khanna’s family about his demise. He was the reigning superstar of Bollywood in the 80’s, and he will always remain one of the most beloved superstars of the country. Rest in peace!
