Fabulous playback singer Asha Bhosle will be receiving Lifetime Achievement Award for her unconditional devotedness towards Indian Cinema at Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
“I am delighted to have been nominated to receive this Lifetime Achievement Award from DIFF in Dubai – a place with long historic ties to my country. I look forward to visiting this special film festival, which has done so much work to promote the art worldwide,” she said in a statement released on the official site of the film festival.
Asha Tai has recorded almost every style of music ranging from Bollywood films to Indian Classical music. “Tai” has an astonishing voice and has also sung many pop numbers, folk songs, bhajans and ghazals as well.
The film festival will start on December 10, 2014, and will go on until December 17, 2014.
