BCCI President Jagmohan Daliya passed away on Sunday evening in Kolkata. He had been admitted in the hospital with chest pain to a city hospital a few days ago. He had undergone a surgery and passed away within 72 hours of the surgery.
The BCCI board will have to choose a new President. For this, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur has decided to call a S.G.M (Special General Meeting) in the next 15 days.
“The president who will be chosen after SGM will have full power. It will not be a caretaker or a temporary position,” disclosed a source to the press. BCCI secretary will convene the meeting and letters will be sent out to associations soon.
