The Breakup Song is going to be the new Breakup Anthem of the year

Gone are those days when heartbroken people were seen aloof, depressed, always compared to Devdas and of course they played that same sad track on a loop. Now breakup is a reason to celebrate. After the most ridiculous Breakup Party song by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Dharma Productions came with another track ‘The Breakup Song’ from the upcoming bollywood flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The song is featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma who are seen celebrating breakup with no tears. They have the delighted and sparkling faces dancing at a club trying to set the tone of the song. But it’s unclear whether they are celebrating their break up or just living it up. Celebrating break up is now a synonym for celebrating new life and friendship. So Dharma Production came up with a catchy track to put an impression that heart breaks no more define the sad ending.

Badshaah also has a rap verse in the song. He seems to highlight a bit from the Jab We Met. Remember that solution of forgetting your ex by burning the photograph or abusing your ex. Well this iconic line is used in the rap in a similar way. An ode paid to Jab We Met. If you ask me, The Break up Song is nothing out of the ordinary.
Undoubtedly Arijit Singh tried to take this track to an all new level. The track is energetic and lively and will make everyone hook to this song. The lyrics are like a conversation between two people. What we get see is the dance moves, crazy expressions of Ranbir and Anushka but this song is pretty average as compared to the three other intense tracks from the film: The title track,”Bulleya” and “Chaana Mereya”.
We also get to see a surprise glimpse of Lisa Haydon in the song for a few seconds!
Watch the track below and tell us what you feel.
