Jackie Chan’s visit to India: A grandiose welcome of the grandiose star

An open royal vintage car, elegant Maharashtrian style salutation and the glorifying cadence of dhol beats, charging the ambience with impeccable energy, marked the advent of ‘King of Martial Arts’-Jackie Chan.

The action actor has landed in India to promote his most awaited upcoming movie, Kung Fu Yoga. It is the stardom of Jackie Chan which always alludes the Indian audience.

However, this time the movie is going to entice more charm because of the presence of Indian celebs like Sonu Sood, who is aiding a pivotal role to the film, along with the charismatic appearance of Indian Divas- Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur. Their ‘add on’ has earned more excitement for the Indian audience and hence, has amassed the fervour for the movie.

Jackie Chan has commenced his promotion process for Kung Fu Yoga exuberantly. Even before heading towards a promotional event, which was docked at a popular Mumbai hotel, he dedicated his day for the shoot of India’s one of the most acclaimed program for promotion- ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

In the show, he would be seen talking about the culture of China and the difference between Bollywood and Chinese film industry together with many hilarious deeds.

It was this tweet on 19 January, which popped over the tweeter handle of Bollywood hunk Sonu Sood and intrigued interest’s instinct of not just the fans but that too of the film industry, who went crazy about Jackie Chan’s visit to Mumbai.

Bollywood’s superstar Salman Khan took to Twitter a few days back and thanked Jackie for offering this film to his Dabangg co-star ‘Chedi’.

As a reply to Salman, Jackie promised him to meet him when he visits India, and the action star kept his word. And keeping his promise Jackie met him yesterday.

Kung Fu Yoga is one of the three Sino-Indian co-productions being made as part of an agreement between the two countries. The movie will hit the screens in China on January 28, 2017, and in India on February 3, 2017.
