Some people preconceive that ladies do not know how to drive. “Ladies are worst drivers”. This is heard as a fact nowadays. Ladies ! whenever you drive, people will always look at you like some alien has come down to their city for driving, but YOU keep driving!
- STARE
People look at you like you have committed some mistake, even if you have not. They stare at you in a way, that they will come off their scooters, will stop you and eat you raw. That angry stare from behind their helmets can totally scare your heart off. Definitely, after that, you will do some mistake, which you were not about to do before.
- UPROAR BY PISSED OFF UNCLES
There are some people who are already pissed off with their life or perhaps a wife, they pour all their anger upon you. And one good day if you don’t give the indicator, everyone will do tandav on your head, for misleading them! God can only save you in that condition.
- TAUNTING, IF YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT
They think whenever girls want to turn right they give left indicator and vice-versa. And then they see you giving the left indicator and turning left, that is something indigestible for them, and they taunt you on being a lady, and giving the correct indicator. You do wrong, you get the shoutings, you do right, you get the taunts.
- OVERTAKE
Once you overtake a boy, it is a prestige point for him now. He is certainly overtaking you after a minute or two, after all, it comes to his ego.
- ON THE LONG RED SIGNALS
Not all the time, but some day you are being looked at by a person, on the red light, as if they have never seen any girl driving. As if they have never seen a girl before, that makes it a bit awkward.
It’s not that all the ladies don’t know how to drive. After all, we have lady cab drivers too! it’s just a mindset of the society, which is to be changed.
