Maçon – Another successful event by E-Cell of IBS Hyderabad
Maçon – the entrepreneurship cell of IBS Hyderabad has been successfully conducting yet another grand edition of the week-long event ‘Entrepreneurship India 2017’. The theme for this year ‘Young Entrepreneurs’ is aimed at the young and aspiring business minds of this generation who turned up in huge number to mainly learn and support the upcoming entrepreneurs.
The event started on the zeroth day (5th November) where the several clubs of IBS Hyderabad enrolled themselves in a week-long competition. The next day (6th November) saw a grand inauguration by Mr. Anuj Gupta of Snapdeal and Blood Network and saw a huge turnout consisting of budding minds from IBS. Day 2 of the E-Week saw a panel discussion on ‘Whether to venture into start-ups before 30 or not’ by some of the big and reputed guests from all over the country. Guests like Mr. Anant Singhal and Mr. Sandeep Atre gave an insightful panel discussion much to the rapturous reception of the crowd.
Day 3 (8th November) of the E-week saw a discussion on a very relevant topic ‘Woman Entrepreneurship’. The topic was received as the need of the hour. Maçon received three female role-models Miss. Pankti Shah, Miss. Vineeta Surana, Miss. Anjali Raj who had already made their mark in the field of entrepreneurship to discuss the topic and the resultant discussion turned out to be the highlight of the event.
For the day 4 (November 9th), the chief guests Miss. Payal Sarkar, Miss. Priyanka Bhatt & Mr. Koustav Shah from ‘The Penniless Writers’ conducted a workshop on writing which saw a turnout consisting of budding writers who wanted to learn the craft from the proven people.
On the whole, it may not be an exaggeration if we term the event ‘Entrepreneurship India 2017’ as a major triumph for Maçon – the entrepreneurship cell of IBS, Hyderabad. The events turned out to be well organized and well attended by students and such sort of an enthusiastic bunch of students deserve a pat on their back for organizing such an event on a major scale.
‘It is not over till it’s actually over’ – the event still has three more days of interesting programs lined up like the Business Plan & Hackathon discussion, Special discussion by Twitter fame Gabbar Singh, a grand closing ceremony, etc. A job well begun is half done. And, team Maçon has done that aspect right so far.
Stay tuned for more on this!
