Donald Trump: A Politician Confronting Hate For Keeping His Election Manifesto
“Politicians promise to build a bridge even when there is no river”
Politicians these days are a synonym to ‘piker’, the masters of commitment breakers. Such kind of image incites a feeling of simpatico, certainly for those politicians also, who can manage to enforce even an ounce, through their actual enactment from the heap of fantasised promises.
If we talk about Donald Trump, the predictable yet unpredictable trending personality, on expected ground he is then entitled to receive bunches of overwhelming love, unpackable joy and the esteem of witnessing electrifying vibes of euphoria flowing inside the veins of public; for successfully walking towards the absolute enforcement of his campaigning promises. But newspapers and Television broadcast have a different story altogether to broadcast. The prevailing situation infers the revelation of a new wave of loathing. Against the flow, the current happenings are honouring the president with wide-ranging outrage and rampant protests.
Protests against Donald Trump or Anti-Trump have occurred in large numbers, both in the United States and worldwide in order to express dissatisfaction with Trump’s campaign rhetoric, his electoral win, his inauguration and various presidential actions. Protests have been quite large in some cities, and have taken every possible form, whether peaceful, violent, walk-outs, business closures, petitions, rallies, demonstrations, marches or any other way of dissent. Some of the big-leagues in this were-
#1: Trump Travel Ban
Protests erupted across the United States and beyond, targeting the president’s executive order, signed on January 27, which banned travellers and refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries viz. Syria, Yemen, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Iran and Libya, from entering the United States. However, U.S. District Court Judge James Robart of Washington State has temporarily blocked Trump’s executive order.
#2: Abortion Policy
an executive order was signed, which barred US foreign aid from going to any nongovernmental organisation (NGO) that either provides abortion services or even discusses abortion with its patients as an option for family planning. This executive order has been speculated to leave Thousands of women vulnerable to death across the world, and millions will lose access to both safe abortion and birth control
#3: Women’s March (largest demonstration in US history)
The Women’s March was a worldwide anti-Donald Trump protest on January 21, 2017, to protect legislation and policies regarding human rights and other issues, including women’s rights, immigration reform, healthcare reform, the natural environment, LGBTQ rights, racial equality, freedom of religion, and workers’ rights. The rallies were aimed at Trump, immediately following his inauguration as President of the United States, largely due to statements and positions attributed to him regarded by many as anti-women or otherwise offensive. It was the largest single-day demonstration in U.S. history.
#4: Mexico border wall
Protests erupted in the form of a slew of messages, memes and videos that have been spreading in Mexico, as President Donald Trump pushes for a border wall, deportations and punishing new trade rules. Others messages call for specific boycotts of U.S. companies in Mexico, including McDonald’s, Walmart and Coca-Cola.
#5: Dakota Access Pipeline Project
Donald Trump’s backing of the Dakota Access Pipeline project set the stage for a new confrontation with Native Americans and environmentalists. Within days of taking office, he signed two presidential memoranda supporting both the Dakota and the Keystone XL pipelines – telling the army to review one, and inviting a private company to re-apply for the other.
So, instead of keeping his election manifesto it’s now an understandable fact to accept that- “Why people are showing their hatred towards Trump”.
Moreover, we need to understand that, Trump’s policies or executive orders that are being signed under his regime has striking effects on larger sections of people that too jolting them with great intensity. Also, the USA being World’s superpower, adds to this fact and elevates Trump’s avers.
However, he has been elected as President, is a bitter yet an utter truth. Hence, undoubtedly, there are abundant Trump lovers inflating in the town. There are some exclusive traits which set him apart and might rise as the influential reasons to LIKE Trump-
#1: He’s an American first
Trump’s loyalty will only be to America and Americans—not any political party, special interest group or foreign entity. Like his slogan reads, “Make America great again!”
#2: He speaks the truth
Trump isn’t politically correct. He isn’t afraid to say what he thinks, and he can certainly voice an opinion. If he has an issue with you, he will say it to your face. It’d be nice to have a politician in office with that level of transparency
#3: He’ll be tough on ISIS
No one will be tougher on ISIS than Donald Trump. Mostly because Islamic terrorism is eating up large portions of the Middle East and they’ve become rich. They even built a hotel making themselves a direct competitor of Trump Hotel.
#4: He has high standards
Trump gets it. He believes in American exceptionalism, he’s committed to education, and he demands high performance. After all, he has been known to fire anyone that doesn’t meet his high standards. Talk about efficiency.
#5: He knows how to build an empire
Trump is extremely rich, obviously, and his track record for financial success proves that he knows how to build a successful empire. With the U.S. trillions of dollars in debt, this is the sort of leader that might be able to turn it all around
#6: He has his priorities straight
He has emphasised beliefs in free enterprise and a strong military. He repeatedly highlights his acumen for success, his ability to get things done, and understanding of finances
#7: He’ll keep nuclear weapons out of the wrong hand
Trump said it himself–he will single-handedly stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons. We aren’t entirely sure how, but he’s Trump; anything is possible.
#8: He can’t be bought
Trump has a confidence and a self-assured, powerful personality that is perfectly suited for politics. Unlike other politicians who tend to be swayed by lobbyists and special interests, Trump is his own special interest and is unlikely to give that power away to anyone but Trump.
