A Booklet – ‘Scamster BJP’ by ShivSena
For the past three years, ShivSena has been the critic of BJP and the clashes between them seem growing. In the recent meeting addressed by Uddhav Thackeray – ShivSena party leader in Mumbai, a magazine named ‘Ghotalebaaz BJP’ is being distributed among its office and party workers. It is a 56 paged, dozen listed corruption alleged scams of BJP which included many ministers and leaders.
This booklet featured
Eknath Khadse, BJP senior leader, in MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) land scam.
Vinod Tawde, Education Minister, accused in deformity of managing the supply of fire extinguishers for Zilla Parishad schools.
Girish Bapat, Food and Civil Supplies Minister, featured in tur dal scam.
Dilip Gandhi, BJP Leader, accused of loan waiver scam.
Leaders that include Vishnu Savara, Pravin Darekar, Jaykumar Rawal, Chandrasekhar Bawankule, Rajit Patil, Sambhaji Patil and another couple of ministers were also been listed which the Sena ally calls in the booklet saying ‘national level scams’. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are also been mentioned. It is also alleged that the companies that were blacklisted by Shiv Sena controlled BMC in Mumbai, is now controlled by BJP.
ShivSena cornered and slammed BJP openly, at every point considering demonetization, the launch of the bullet train, the election campaign in Gujarat that BJP took a stand. By this, during the BMC polls, BJP spokesperson reacted saying, though Shiv Sena is a part of Maharashtra government, it’s featuring itself as opposition party by criticizing the government. He also mentioned about the booklet saying its a mischief act was done on them.
Later, ShivSena in order not to get into any controversies made it clear that the booklet is not from their party and that they will not go for any such tricks to put them down.
