But it was misquoted by the media hence leading to the wrath of millions of people. Media had quoted that Sri Sri said that Malala did nothing to deserve this award. Malala has gone through a huge ordeal and it wasn’t easy for her to rise and stand up for a cause. She is growing and she is offering a lot to people but so do others. If anybody who gets shot and builds schools can bag a Nobel prize then there are so many waiting in queue. She is indeed working for a Nobel cause but there are standards set and the work of other people to be evaluated which is huge and contains more than 20 years of service. Her work maybe deserved a bravery award or any award congratulating her struggle and motivating other children to get educated but offering a Nobel prize means measuring up to the work done by others and years of struggle the previous winners have gone through.
