OnePlus Nord: Here’s Everything You Need To Know
On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, after all the rumors, teasers and leaks, OnePlus revealed its new budget smartphone called OnePlus Nord. The company sticks to its ground again this time and creates a quality, with some excellent specifications and budget smartphones, how they used to back at the day.
Jumping into some detailed specifications, features you need to know before buying. So, grab your chai and some news in your hand or in front of your computer screen.
1.OnePlus Nord price starts at Rs. 24,999 for the basic 6GB RAM/64GB variant, which is ‘exclusive’ for the Indian market, and will go on sale starting from August 4, 2020. The phone will also be offered in 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 12GB RAM/256 storage model, which is priced at Rs.27,999/- and 29,999/- respectively.
2. OnePlus Nord will be sold via the OnePlus.in website, OnePlus Experience Stores, and Amazon.in in India. The company is offering two color variants- Blue Marble & Gray Onyx. The 6GB version won’t receive the blue variant and will be limited only to the gray option.
3. OnePlus Nord pre-orders are now open at their OnePlus Experience Stores, whereas Amazon will start taking the pre-orders from July 28, 2020. Apart from this, people who are Red Cable members have a chance to order the smartphone before anyone else, which is on August 3, 2020, via OnePlus.in and One Plus Experience Stores.
4. Jumping to specifications, OnePlus Nord comes with a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. With, 765G SoC which is capable of 5G connectivity. Also, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 upfront. Peeking inside OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10-based OxygenOS 10.5 and has received its first software update in the form of OxygenOS 10.5.1.
5. Battery & Camera: In the Battery department, it consists of 4,115mAh along with fast charging (Warp Charge 30T). This is fast charging technology, enabling the phone’s battery to charge from 0 to 70 percent in just half an hour. The camera lens is a 48-megapixel shooter with a Sony IMX586 image sensor and an f/1.75. The quad-camera setup includes an 8-megapixel wide-angle, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 2-megapixel macro camera. Having a glance at the front, contains dual selfie-cameras which are 32-megapixel main shooter and 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.
OnePlus Nord is a really great smartphone for the Indian market that comes with 5G connectivity, powered by great specifications, super smart with excellent build quality, and a decent mid-range budget.
