BRICS Film Festival to be hosted by India

It’s a five days film festival that will look for soldering ties with the BRICS nations- Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The tentative dates are from September2- 6. The film festival would provide an arch for all the film industry personalities of member countries to delve into the areas of films and culture. PM Narendra Modi proposed the idea of organizing the BRICS Film Festival at the last BRICS Summit.

During the course of the five day event, the festival will screen the works of the filmmakers, four from each of the countries. An international jury will award the best performances of the filmmakers, actors, producers and directors. Apart from films, the nations will also bond over exclusive cuisines and craft fair and stage performances. This is also a step taken towards ensuring that there is more people connectivity between member countries.

It is indeed going to be a big gathering in Delhi. For people who feel thrilled at the mention of Cinema, Cuisine, Art & Culture under one roof, it’s a must visit for them. The entry is free. So people gear up for this happening event and start making plans and enjoy the bioscope of the participating countries.
