Assam-Mizoram Border Row: FIR Against Assam CM

An FIR has been filed against Assam CM and other high ranking representatives of the state under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including an attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy.

“Will be very happy to join in any investigation. But why the case is not being handed over to a neutral agency, especially when the place of occurrence is well within the constitutional territory of Assam? Have already conveyed this to CM Zoramthanga” tweeted Assam Chief Minister Himanta Buses Sarma in regards to the FIRs filed against him.
