After hard work of 2 years, 11 months and 18 days India come up with the Indian constitution. The success to the cliff we have made in this time period of 70 years is quite incredible. Who knows the Nation which captive by different people for a long time period will emerge out as a democratic secular independent nation and will unfurl the tricolor national flag all around the globe in every field. But this is the real journey India covered after 1947 via the help of laws, bills and rules, well written on our constitution.
On every 26th January we celebrate the republic day, we celebrate the sovereign, secular, socialist and democratic nation which stands by its law well written in constitution of India. As always the celebration started with the gazette holiday and a celebration in nation capital ‘DELHI’. With the pomp and show many other things also take place on the republic day.
Who is the chief guest this time?
To grace the function every time a chief guest is invited and this time the fifth and current president of South Africa, Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa will preside over the 70th republic celebrations.
The PM self-invited him during the G20 summit held in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina as in order to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi 150th birth anniversary, and he was so linked to South Africa people and this is one of the best note to tie stronger by celebrating the 70th republic with them.
What is the special going to happen this year?
Along with the celebrations of Gandhi 150th birth anniversary, this year theme will be “Gandhi” in which about 14 tableaux from state and 6 from ministries have chosen. The delegates of PRAVASI BHARTIYA DIVAS will also preside over the function after attending the DIVAS in Varanasi from 21st to 23rd January 2019. This year again the Indian AIR force on one side is all set to steal the show by flying aircraft using bio-fuel and The Indian Army on other side go with the inclusion of M777 Howitzer and K9 Vajra, the self-propelled gun. Keeping Bapu in mind and his birthday celebration along with the theme, this year, Uttrakhand will be depicting the tableau of ‘Anasakti Ashram’, Kosani in Uttrakhand where Bapu spent his time in 1929 and which he appealed by saying as the ‘Switzerland of India’.
With all this the best thing will be inauguration of long-awaited National War Memorial, near India Gate, New Delhi in honor of the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives since India independence.
With all these special gestures and moments, other states like J&K, Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh etc. will also preside and grace over the function.
Republic day is the true spirit of independent and democratic India, the tricolor flag unfurled in the sky show the victory of wisdom, peace and love and the free bird after the struggle, sacrifice and hard-work of so many years. It is a celebration of being born in so diversified yet united country, united with motherland, united with culture, united with peace and united with humanity. This is only 70th, the celebrations will be eternal and forever to make the present as well as future generation to stand up together and sing the national anthem with proud and dignity.
